Typical Impranah pups:
At 'IMPRANAH' all our puppies are extremely well socialised, spending time in the house mixing with our other dogs and getting used to the normal household situations, such as hoovering, washing machine, radios, television, phones, etc. Our puppies are all registered with the Kennel Club. They are tattooed, insured for 12 weeks from leaving & wormed fortnightly from 2 weeks old. They are all reared on high quality complete dog food.
We aim to breed top quality dogs for the show ring to compete nationwide although the majority will be sold as happy, healthy family pets. Therefore, our main aim is to breed dogs with outstanding characters. We only breed from animals that are healthy and of sound temperament and meet our required high standards eg acceptable hip scores, haemophilia tests on males and they must have a good breed survey. We strive to use the top UK and German bloodlines in our breeding programme.
When our puppies are around 7 to 8 weeks old they will be ready to start their new lives in their loving, permanent homes, each new puppy owner receives a puppy pack, which contains all the necessary KC registration and paperwork for their puppy, with food, toys, bowl etc. We also include a comprehensive advice sheet with information on basic training, feeding, worming, socialisation, etc.
The new owners are always welcome to contact us for advice at any time.
All puppy buyers are required to sign a contract, which requires them to inform us if they are unable to keep the dog for any reason, in order that we can assist with the rehoming process. This contract also provides a number of provisions, which protect the new owners following their purchase of a puppy from us, therefore benefiting both parties.
All our puppies have their kennel club registrations endorsed with:-
1. Progeny not eligible for registration
2. Not eligible for export pedigree.
These endorsements are for the 'welfare of the GSD' and we hope will help discourage indiscriminate breeding. However, if a puppy buyer
wants to breed a litter of puppies, the dog must be hip-scored 20 or less and be of sound mind and body with something to offer the breed. If all this applies only then will we consider removal of the endorsement to allow progeny registration. We will also provide suitable support, guidance and advice where necessary. In addition, if an owner were considering emigration then this endorsement regarding export can and will be removed for them.
